You can make a copy of an existing clip. A cloned clip is a new, separate clip that's identical to the original clip. Any changes you make to the cloned clip do not affect the original.
This is useful for a few reasons:
Before you start joining, splitting and trimming audio you might want to first make a copy of your clip.
Pour créer un court clip à envoyer à Headliner pour en faire un audiogramme.
Pour créer un extrait à transcrire, si vous ne souhaitez pas créer une transcription de l’intégralité du clip.
Pour appliquer un autre préréglage de volume ou de nivellement.
How to clone a clip
Find the clip you would like to clone.
Select the dropdown next to Edit Audio and select Clone as a new clip.
Optional: rename the clip.
Save changes, then use the cloned clip like you would any other clip in Omny.
